The IQFR, together with other CSIC Institutes, participates in the European project PARTHENOS. This project aims to develop a research infrastructure in the sector of humanities and favour the integration and interoperability between research infrastructure services.
CSIC will contribute to the project in the sector of cultural heritage, participating in the assessment of the community involvement and requirements, common policies and implementation strategies, the definition of the requirements for standardization and of standardized protocols and procedures; the development of an integrated training plan, the assessment of trans-national access protocols and communication, dissemination and joint outreach activities.
Up to now the project has produced a wide quantity of formative material on the management of digital information in humanities, as well as an exhaustive document with the needs and requests of a wide range of disciplines in the same field. All the produced material in an indirect way (articles, etc.) will be deposited also in repositories where its open access is guaranteed.
