Anna Mandziak, currently researcher at the Polish Solaris synchrotron, has won the 3rd prize to the best PhD thesis using synchrotron radiation awarded by the AUSE.

Ana Madnziak, who finished her PhD thesis under the supervision of Lucia Aballe (Alba synchrotron) and Juan de la Figuera (IQFR), won the 3rd prize in the competition for the best PhD thesis using synchrotron radiation organized by the Spanish Association of Synchrotron Radiation Users (AUSE) for the 2019-2021 years, during the X AUSE Conference & V ALBA User’s Meeting which is taking place in Barcelona from 5 to 8 september 2022. The second prize was won by Sandra Ruiz-Gómez, whose PhD thesis includes work in collaboration with Juan de la Figuera and coworkers from the Surface Analysis and Mössbauer Spectroscopy Group.
